for your stay at VERT : short stays
|
The Versailles Research Center has lodging facilities for short stays
from 1 to 6 months :
One residence in the Versailles Research Center
and two residences in front of the railway station Saint-Cyr l’Ecole
(15 minute walk from the Versailles campus). The price of the
rooms is 200 Euros/month. Each room has a shower and a fridge.
A common kitchen is available for cooking.

If the stays are
longer than 6 months it is possible to be lodged in the following
centers :
- The Grignon Research Center is
located 20 km from Versailles. From Saint-Cyr l’Ecole railway
station, it is possible to take a train for Plaisir Grignon
railway station
(15 minutes by train) and
then take a shuttle bus or walk 3 km to arrive in the Grignon
Research Center. The prices are from 165 to 240 Euros per
month for rooms
from 12 m2 to 18 m2.

- The "Jardin des Sciences"
is next to the railway station Saint-Quentin en Yvelines (5 minutes
from the Saint-Syr
l’Ecole railway station by train). In this residence, studio
flats can be rented. The prices are from 314 to 540 Euros/month
for studio flats from 15 m2 to 25 m2.

- The "Cité Internationale
Universitaire"
in Paris (Cité Universitaire
railway station, train RER B). It takes 1 hour by train from Saint-Cyr
l’Ecole railway station to Cité Universitaire railway
station and one hour by train from Evry Courcouronnes railway station
(Plant Genomics Research laboratory in Evry) to Cité Universitaire
railway station. In the Cité International Universitaire,
there are 37 residences from different countries. Each residence
represents
one country. For example, if you come from United Kingdom you can
apply for a room in the United Kingdom Residence. The prices of the
rooms
are from 300 to 450 Euros/months.
